This is a great hotel in a very convenient location, making it easy to get anywhere in the area. The manager and staff were absolutely wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our stay comfortable. The service consistently exceeded expectations, and the property was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Exceptional service! I lost my AirPods here, and Yarely was incredibly patient and attentive in helping me get them back. She truly listened to my concerns and made sure they were shipped to me safely. Thank you, Yarely, for going above and beyond!

Very well run hotel, and the newly renovated rooms are nice. The little things like daily maid service with fresh towels without asking (or having to toss linens on the floor) are appreciated. The exterior of the property and the surrounding area are a little lackluster, but it still does not prevent this from being an excellent place to stay!

This hotel is insanely clean and the breakfast was pretty awesome, wasn’t just hot water and a packet of instant oatmeal’s. The rooms looked very nice and they have a lot of great amenities in the room. Definitely recommend for extended stays.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Austin Arboretum on business and overall had a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out process was by far the easiest I’ve ever had, which set the tone for a smooth stay. The staff were absolutely outstanding across the board—friendly, professional, and attentive. My room was perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. I had requested a microwave, and while it wasn’t in the room at check-in, it truly wasn’t a major issue. The pool area was another highlight: calm, relaxing, and a great place to unwind, though I do wish the hours started a bit earlier. The on-site bar and restaurant felt very open and welcoming, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. The only disappointment was an unexpected charge for the second night, which caused some issues on the finance side of things. While this was frustrating, it doesn’t take away from how excellent the property and team were during my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hyatt Austin Arboretum for its outstanding service, relaxing atmosphere, and comfortable accommodations!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Austin, The Domain Area. This hotel is excellently run. The hotel is newly remodeled. There is a clear attention to detail. Our room and the hotel in general was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Our stay had the feeling of luxury carried in the attention to small details, which most of us don't think about — unless they're missing or wrong. They get everything right. The linens were amazing. The bed was comfortable. The towels were of an excellent quality. The shower pressure was great. Wide, well-lit mirrors in the vanity area allowed two women get ready in one space without bumping into each other. Check-in and check-out was smooth and efficient. The lobby is elegant, yet comfortable. The breakfasts are full breakfasts which vary daily. This adds a nice touch when you're staying several days. What I appreciate the most is the hospitality of the staff. I don’t know if others notice this, but there is a higher quality of customer care that is evident when interacting with people who like people. This was apparent with all of the staff we met. The staff members we interacted with the most were the manager, Jennifer, Bob, Madison, and Lollie — all of whom were very welcoming. We came for two fairly stressful family events, but had a bit of spare time. Jennifer, provided us with ideas for places to see, things to do, and places to shop in the area. She also helped us with a lost, ultimately misplaced, phone situation with calm professionalism. Bob, Madison and Lollie helped us info and with smaller requests with a calm, competent friendliness that gave us, two stressed travelers, a place to relax.

We had a stay before a wedding for 3 nights and across those 3 nights, every single member of staff that I interacted with was kind, caring, and beyond helpful. The staff was the highlight, but the room was clean, maneuverable, and well appointed with a very respectable breakfast. 5/5 absolutely recommend.

I don't even care that the hotel is under construction and the entrance is a bit awkward in the back - this is the best hotel experience I've had in Austin so far. Now let's be clear - I stay in this class of hotel almost exclusively when I travel, as it's what my company springs for. I've stayed in around a half dozen different properties around north Austin in the past few years as work brings me here roughly once a quarter. For a while I preferred a specific Residence Inn nearby as it was a decent hotel, and convenient, but I decided to switch it up a few trips ago and have been trying some others. A colleague recommended I try Hyatt, and I am glad I did! When I first walked in, I was met by a wonderful front desk agent, Jade. She is hands down the friendliest, loveliest person who has checked me into a hotel literally in _years_ that I have interacted with. I travel frequently for work and have noticed a steady decline in the quality of people filling these roles. Jade truly is a precious gem, and I hope that her employers recognize and reward this. After a pleasant check-in with Jade, I went up to my room (the "Penthouse suite" as she quipped, to which I chuckled), which I found to be honestly the cleanest hotel room I've experienced, also in years. Up until this point I have always been able to find at least one thing that sort of grossed me out a little bit about a hotel room. A hair in the sheets, a dirty, unattended corner in a bathroom, stains on the mirror, something. In this room - nothing! As spotless as a 3 star hotel room could be! On my first morning, I head down for breakfast, and enter the temporary dining room. Average hotel breakfast, nothing special - but who I assume was the manager and some of the staff are closely attending the breakfast service. All friendly, quick to respond to any guest need, and clear your plates as you rise to leave, all above and beyond what I would expect from a hotel of this class. All a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Oh and let's not forget they have a nice selection of teas - about 6 varieties -perhaps not appreciated by many, but certainly is a plus for someone that prefers green and herbal tea over coffee! Sure, the lobby is under construction, it smells like paint in the stairwell, minor annoyances to me. The things that matter - the staff's attitude and attentiveness, the cleanliness of the rooms, the overall "feel" of the place -- all done well. It seems an actual hotelier runs this place, which is sadly not the norm in my experience. Bravo, Hyatt. You've won a customer. I hope my experience is as good as this as I try your other properties in my future travels. Edit: returned after 3 months and Jade is still here! Hotel is still great. I’ll stay here every time I visit this part of Austin. Lobby construction is finished and it looks great!
